Not A Life Guard
A downloadable game for Windows
Welcome to Not A Lifeguard, a little lifeguard simulator game with limited time and life buoys. Your mission is to save people in distress and guide them safely to the beach. Here's how the game works:
Gameplay
- As a lifeguard, your objective is to save swimmers and bring them to the beach.
- When you rescue someone, they will swim back to the beach on their own and drop a life buoy.
- You can collect the life buoy to replenish your stock.
- However, if your life buoy count reaches zero, you won't be able to throw any more life buoys.
- The power of your throws is determined by the amount of time you spend charging up by pressing the spacebar. More power means faster life buoys.
Story
While walking on the beach, someone approaches you and starts yelling about the need for a lifeguard. They throw a lifeguard hat and 15 life buoys at you before heading back to the beach manager hut. Now it's up to you to fulfill the duties of a lifeguard and keep the swimmers safe.
Controls
- A: Move left
- B: Move right
- Space: Power up (hold to charge up your throw)
Song
The game features the song "Ramazoid - Electron [NCS Release]" as the background music.
Apologies for the typo in the game name. Unfortunately, it couldn't be changed after the game's completion, including the artwork.
If you encounter any bugs or issues, please don't hesitate to let me know. I developed the game single-handedly, taking care of everything you can see and even things you can't see. Your feedback is valuable. Enjoy playing Not A Lifeguard!
